There will be no new Dear Eugenia letters this week. (New letters will be posted next week) You ask why ? Let me share my joy with you... |
The story behind Dear Eugenia My family left Romania under very difficult conditions back in the forties. My uncle used astrology to ensure the timing was right for each family member to get out of the country safely. When I was growing up astrology was my hobby, I wanted to be a ballerina. During my early teens I fractured my knee and that was the end of my dream to dance. In hindsight a blessing in disguise - I wasn’t good enough to go the distance. Simply, my dream to dance became my hobby and astrology my future. One day my uncle sat me down and told me that I must never stop charting the planets, that I would be the one to show North Americans how valuable astrology can be as a timing tool. Unfortunately he passed away not long after that talk. His passing left me with an undying desire to fulfill his prophesy and I became obsessed with the art of timing and that resulted in the development of the first Dear Eugenia column published in a small local paper back in 1979. The column was my way to teach people how to use astrology to become successful. After all, timing is the key to success and astrology is timing. My fight to interest a large newspaper in a column that was – well let’s just say not your norm, was immense. So I began writing daily horoscopes. Eventually my daily column was syndicated bringing me greater recognition and the opportunity to use the Internet as a vehicle for my Dear Eugenia column. Although it was obvious by the number of emails I was receiving, that my readers wanted the column the newspapers didn't... until now ! I am proud to announce and deeply indebted to the Chicago Sun Times for this opportunity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The launch will be in the Chicago Sun Times beginning this Thursday May 28th with the column appearing on my website and blog on Sunday May 31st. To all my readers, fans and curious observers thank you for your emails your support and your belief in my intuitive ability to use the ancient art of astrology as the modern art of timing to guide you. I am delighted overwhelmed and finally at peace. Did I mention how much I love Chicago and how little it would take for me to move to this great city that has embraced me with open arms. As Frank Sinatra sang... ” And so I say to each of you most gratefully - As I throw each one of you a kiss - This is my kind of town, Chicago is.” |

| Q: Dear Eugenia, | A: Dear Confused Pisces |
I born March 5, 1983 at 9:48 AM have been in a long distance relationship with a man born July 20th 1982. We have broken up and made up a couple of times. The main problem is neither of us wants to move to the other person's city. I am very much in love with this person however I feel that this person does not love me to the same degree. |
Why are you so intent on being in a relationship? You are young, obviously good looking from what I can tell by your chart and certainly not ready to settle down. |
| Q: Dear Eugenia, | A: Dear Serenity, |
My daughter born September 14, 1985 at 12:16 pm and I born March 8, 1967 at 12:38 pm appeared on your television show a few years ago, at the time |

| Q: Dear Eugenia, | A: Dear Taurus , |
I have a very tough decision to make and would like some insight from you. I was born April 23, 1968 at 8:41 am. I have worked for the same company for the last 14 years. They have recently gone through some trying times and have laid-off a lot of staff. I was one of the few spared and I was transferred to one of their other companies. |
This is the perfect year for you to jump ship and go where the money is. Forget your seniority – you are being treated like a junior by the sounds of it and there are no guarantees that you will end up in the position promised a couple of years from now. |
