Dear Eugenia Readers Email

There will be no new Dear Eugenia letters this week. (New letters will be posted next week)
You ask why ? Let me share my joy with you...

The story behind Dear Eugenia

My family left Romania under very difficult conditions back in the forties. My uncle used astrology to ensure the timing was right for each family member to get out of the country safely.

When I was growing up astrology was my hobby, I wanted to be a ballerina. During my early teens I fractured my knee and that was the end of my dream to dance. In hindsight a blessing in disguise - I wasn’t good enough to go the distance. Simply, my dream to dance became my hobby and astrology my future.

One day my uncle sat me down and told me that I must never stop charting the planets, that I would be the one to show North Americans how valuable astrology can be as a timing tool. Unfortunately he passed away not long after that talk. His passing left me with an undying desire to fulfill his prophesy and I became obsessed with the art of timing and that resulted in the development of the first Dear Eugenia column published in a small local paper back in 1979.

The column was my way to teach people how to use astrology to become successful. After all, timing is the key to success and astrology is timing. My fight to interest a large newspaper in a column that was – well let’s just say not your norm, was immense. So I began writing daily horoscopes.

Eventually my daily column was syndicated bringing me greater recognition and the opportunity to use the Internet as a vehicle for my Dear Eugenia column. Although it was obvious by the number of emails I was receiving, that my readers wanted the column the newspapers didn't... until now !

I am proud to announce and deeply indebted to the Chicago Sun Times for this opportunity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The launch will be in the Chicago Sun Times beginning this Thursday May 28th with the column appearing on my website and blog on Sunday May 31st. To all my readers, fans and curious observers thank you for your emails your support and your belief in my intuitive ability to use the ancient art of astrology as the modern art of timing to guide you. I am delighted overwhelmed and finally at peace.

Did I mention how much I love Chicago and how little it would take for me to move to this great city that has embraced me with open arms. As Frank Sinatra sang... ” And so I say to each of you most gratefully - As I throw each one of you a kiss - This is my kind of town, Chicago is.”

Q: Dear Eugenia, A: Dear Confused Pisces

I born March 5, 1983 at 9:48 AM have been in a long distance relationship with a man born July 20th 1982. We have broken up and made up a couple of times. The main problem is neither of us wants to move to the other person's city. I am very much in love with this person however I feel that this person does not love me to the same degree.
Recently, I have met another person born November 9, 1981 who seems to be very interested in me and he has done many things that made me feel special and taken care of but I do not have the same type of feeling for him that I do for my other lover. I am not sure whether I should forget my old relationship and give this new one a try? What do you think? Who’s best for me?

Why are you so intent on being in a relationship? You are young, obviously good looking from what I can tell by your chart and certainly not ready to settle down.
You don’t match up well to either of your suitors. Yes of course I can see the physical attraction or chemistry you have with your Cancer man but please that isn’t enough to equate to moving to another city or doing a life sentence with the guy.
As for your Scorpio man, this connection is better left as a friendship however if you have already crossed that line it may be difficult for him to be just friends.
You have a great chart regarding partnerships but not the best staying power when it comes to getting serious and in a forever type situation. You need to experience what life has to offer and to enjoy the company of people who share your interests. You will do much better during your second half of life in terms of a serious long-term relationship. For now you should be socializing, having fun and enjoying what you can learn and experience from the people you encounter along the way.
You match up best to those born under the signs Aries, Gemini, Leo (just not the one you are with – he is more of a Virgo/Scorpio), Libra, Sagittarius (your best sign) and Aquarius.

Q: Dear Eugenia, A: Dear Serenity,

My daughter born September 14, 1985 at 12:16 pm and I born March 8, 1967 at 12:38 pm appeared on your television show a few years ago, at the time
I was married but I have gotten divorced.  My question to you is why do I
still feel like I want to be with my ex-husband.  I am in another
relationship now, my ex betrayed and used me but I still love him and miss
him dearly.  Also my daughter is now a Mom and seems to be walking in my
footsteps when it comes to relationships. Any advice for the both of us?
We were extremely grateful for your honesty during the show and much of what
you predicted came true. The good thing is that I am a grandmother now and could not be happier about that.
With regards
Serenity

eugeniaI can understand your inability to let go of your ex. There is something in all of us that makes us want what we can’t have. The only way to get over a broken heart or someone who has that strong a hold is to find someone better. It’s obvious that you are moving in that direction because you didn’t mention your ex’s birth data however it is also obvious that you don’t really care for the man you are currently with because you didn’t mention his data either. All that being said it’s time for you to cut the ties you have with both men and prepare to make a fresh start. You may not realize it but Mr. Right is in the picture however as long as you are with someone he won’t make a move. You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.
This year your daughter is in a high astrological love cycle. Like you however, she tends to pick the wrong partners. You both should always have an astrological comparison done before you give your heart away. Although she is going through some limitations right now things will start to turn in her favor next year. My suggestion is that she signs up for courses picks up added skills or whatever it will take to move up in the professional world enabling her to be self-sufficient. She matches up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

Q: Dear Eugenia, A: Dear Taurus ,

I have a very tough decision to make and would like some insight from you. I was born April 23, 1968 at 8:41 am. I have worked for the same company for the last 14 years. They have recently gone through some trying times and have laid-off a lot of staff. I was one of the few spared and I was transferred to one of their other companies.
I was offered a very promising mangers job with them, which I will learn over the course of a year or so until the gentleman retires. The problem is, I have been there for a month now and all I seem to be doing is odd jobs that nobody wants to do. I have not done anything remotely related to my "new" position.
I was recently presented with a job opportunity with another company.  This new job would be a great learning opportunity, not to mention more money. I am so torn between my loyalties to my present company, not to mention the seniority I will be giving up if I leave. I would really appreciate if you could tell me what the stars show for me. Do I go or do I stay?
One last thing, I have also been single since my divorce 5 years ago.  Do you see any potential things happening in my love life soon?  What signs would you recommend? Thank you for the wonderful gift you share with your followers.
Taurus

eugenia

This is the perfect year for you to jump ship and go where the money is. Forget your seniority – you are being treated like a junior by the sounds of it and there are no guarantees that you will end up in the position promised a couple of years from now.
You are coming into a high cycle regarding love until the fall of this year so perhaps the move to a new company will also bring with it some interesting options personally as well. You never know whom your new colleagues will introduce you to.
You match up well to those born under the signs Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.
